The webinar will begin with Eric Abbott, our Global Technical Advisor. Then Renaissance experts Jessica Swanson, Lead Development Scientist and Beverage Unit Manager, and Zachari Turgeon, Principal Scientist, will explain how this yeast has been selected.The session will end with the results of different field trials presented by Florian Antoine, our Technical Sales Manager for France, Switzerland, and Belgium, and a Q&A exchange.

To know more about the speakers, read their bio:

JESSICA SWANSON, B.Sc. (University of New Brunswick), is the Lead Development Scientist and Beverage Unit Manager at Renaissance Bioscience. Jess and her team are responsible for the product development, application testing and licensing of RBS beverage yeast products. She has a passion for craft beverages and collaborating with bakeries, distilleries, cideries, wineries and breweries to evaluate new and novel yeast.

ZACHARI TURGEON, M.Sc. (University of Guelph), is the Principal Scientist – Microbial Research and Innovation at Renaissance BioScience. He is one of the founding employees at Renaissance BioScience and has 14 years of experience in yeast research. Zach leads his team to develop innovative microbial technologies, mainly focusing on whole organism engineering, biodiversity characterization, fundamental yeast biology, biosynthesis, and forward-looking technology scouting and implementation. He is passionate about yeast-based solutions to solve problems across a wide variety of industries, especially in the craft beer industry.
